front brake line question

Upgrading soon to the 06+ Monte/Imp front brakes and need to replaced the front lines. I can't find a definitve answer on this so here goes. Do I need to buy the lines for the 06+ monte or just the stock lines for the GP? I know I need to bend the tab out so they are long enough and to check for tire clearance. Don't really feel the need to drop the $$ on SS lines at this time.

I also have the banjo bolt that came with the new calipers (saved everything minus the lines from the JY). Do I need to replace that or can I reuse it?
 


U can reuse the lines as long as their long enough. And the gp lines should work...again as long as their long enough
 
Thanks. I *thought* they would fit since the Imp is a W-body too, but we know how little things change from year to year. I would reuse my existing lines, but seeing as how I have to break one end loose anyway, might as well get fresh ones on there. That and I'm not 100% sure but suspect that they are the original lines. At 295,000mi. might just be time to change em out for safetys sake.

Big a** brakes won't do me much good if the lines burst, lol....
