• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

well, went to check my fluids today, first time in errrrr month maybe. (I know long interval, no flack pls) checked the oil, level is fine, I notice under the engine cover on the right side a NEST, hell no I think. Take cover off and the nest is, tissue paper, grass cuttings, even cloth. I removed it vacummed it all up, check the wires in the vicinity, no issue there. I use my car daily so not sure if anything was actually living there but all is good, no chewed anything. I will pop the hood on a regular basis now to check for that. I have never had an issue with nesting at my place before, IDK will keep an eye on the situation. damn kritters lol

i see it alot in daily driven cars inside the air boxes, more then you would think. My buddy had mice make a home in his accord when the tranny was out and ate half way through the main harness from the firewall!

well, they want heat but I don't have a mice problem in the house. Outside is another matter I know. Like I said more rutine checks to keep it on top of it. And yes i know they can chew on wiring and make a mess

I had an old guy tell me once that if you are going to leave a car sit for a while, leave the hood open. Mice and other critters don't like the hood being opened. I think he is right because he had 6 nice old cars sitting in a barn with hoods open and none had any wires eaten through
