Fresh Bullit for the ALKYGTO (VIDEO!)

:th_laugh-lol3:Just got my complete motor for my 69 GTO back from my engine builder/friend Dusty:th_laugh-lol3:. I'm definitley stoked and should have it in the car within a couple weeks. Dusty was able to start it and check everything out on a run in stand (with Tractor Pull headers!) and it sounds just as BAD ASS as I remembered.

Here's the motor combo-

1. 1970 Chevrolet 454 4 bolt main block
2. Forged 396 steel crank
3. Eagle Rods
4. JE pistons
5. Lunati custom grind roller cam
6. Weiand 6-71 w dual Holley 850 centersquirters (flowed 950 each)
7. Magneto ignition

This all runs through a 12" Mcloed single disc clutch to a Tremec TKO 5 speed and a 12 Bolt Chevy with disc brakes and all Strange axles, spool, etc.

Let me know what you think, and don't be hatin'. I probably have about 7 grand in the whole motor (anybody got more than that in your 3800?) and I beat on this thing for 10 years before a valve let loose and destroyed my old heads and a piston. The new build includes ported Dart 325cc heads and an updated roller cam along with stainless steel roller rockers.

The old combo made 745 RWHP on the dynojet

Enough, just check it out -

Awwwww, look at the lil blower on top, isn't it purty. Ya know I'm just bustin' your stones :th_jester:, wish mine was on the street - someday.

Thanks guy's, I will for sure post some video when I get her cranked up. I have'nt even looked at my Goat for 6 months or more, just left her covered up. It was almost like Christmas morning taking off the covers and seeing it again. Now I'm really energized to get this thing running and out pounding the streets.

:th_nanana: Nya nya, mines ready. Stop wishin and start doin. You MUST finish that project, trust me, it'll be worth it! Forget the paint and cushy interior, put that bad boy together and have some fun!

Re: Fresh Bullit for the ALKYGTO

I love the color of that car and I've seen vid of him driving it around, but it's a little over the top for me, I'd prefer a simpler combo with more power over strict show. The interior is awsome.

Thanks for the sound clip! Now I'm REALLY revved up! :burnrubber0:

Love the GTP in your sig.

Re: Fresh Bullit for the ALKYGTO

Planning on dropping her in this coming weekend with the help of a few friends. More pics to come!

I am sending the supercharger and some anciliary items off to the polisher to get "touched up". It's easier to put it in without the blower and carbs on anyway.

Re: Fresh Bullit for the ALKYGTO

UPDATE:

Motor is in!! I'm installing the tranny today!

I hope to have her running by next weekend as soon as my Summit order arrives.

Vids to follow!!!
