You think any small damage to a vehicle is reported? They probably got hit or they hit something and it was never reported. Maybe the dude was drunk and hit something? Who knows. These things don't tell you everytime your car was washed bud.
 


I'm kinda wondering why my $3000+ accident from last winter wasn't reported, especially because they even had to drop in a new subframe. Makes a guy wonder about these history checks...
 
Well it's been about 10 months since the accident (which cost well over half the value of my car), and even that much time delay would render the service almost useless for people looking to buy a car. It could have been totally wrecked (and obviously fixed) in that timeframe and it wouldn't show up till after they bought the car. Just sayin.

Not really complaining because this is free, just pointing out some observations :)
 


Didn't work for me...and yes I followed the directions..type in the VIN after the "=" The Prix and Camaro both didn't work.

Not every shop reports.
Also, autocheck doesn't seem to have half as much as carfax.
