Anyone have anything good that will fit in the doors? I was looking at some EDesign subs 7" wouldn't be too bad to fit in the doors. I hear that EDesign subs are very good as far as SQ which is what I am looking for. Anyone know of anything else out there?

I used to have 8's in the doors of my van (with all the 15's 8's made sense) fabricate some door panels for it and the 7's will fit (those won't be subs though they won't play that deep)

What I am looking for is nice midbass without subs in trunk. I had a 12W7 for about 4-5 months and I miss it at times. But it was just more than i wanted. I take allot of medication for my CF and the side effect of one of the more important medications I take is hearing loss couple that with the 12W7 playing heavy bass music, before I got it my hearing was fine. I just had an in depth hearing test and have mild hearing loss. So I just want something that will sound good and can get loud if needed, but at the same time not blow my doors off.

free air rockford fosgate p2 8's in the rear deck pound like no other just not really good for sq and tight bass. I did this in some gto's and they sund freaking awesome.

Well I wanted to have everything up-front like a stage if possible. Heres what I have now...

Alpine CDA-9855 (mounted in glove box)
Alpine 70x4 V-Power Amp
2 JL Audio 5.25 coaxial (these are going i think need something bigger)

I have Q-Logic Kick panels that have been fiber glasses on the back for better bass response.
So I want to have some kind of mid-bass woofer type speaker in the door (i think) and the tweeter and the 6.5 in kick panels. I was told it's bad to have 2 sets of tweeters? I am not opposed to putting 8's in the rear deck. let me know what you guys think.

you can do 2 set's of tweets, but it's overkill and can hurt the midrange some (highs get overpowering) really to get the mid bass ones in the door you'll have to fab a panel for them. You could also look at mounting them under the dash (we used to mount 10's in the firewall on some competition cars to bring things forward)

I think I might just put some infitante baffle's 8s in the rear deck and run maybe a 3-way comp in the front then...
or....I could run 6.5 comp in the kick panels and 6.5 coaxil in the door? or comps in the door as well and mount the tweet in the stock grill (like cut it out and mount it in front of the woofer?)

Yeah placement is def key. So maybe ill just run 2 sets of comps see how it sounds. If I need more I'll get 8's in the rear deck.
