Resonator would not contribute. Too far down the exhaust for it to do anything. You'll like the borla, I can assure you :D

I'd highly recommend getting an aeroforce. It'll be helpful to know some of the engine parameters especially on a build like yours. If you can, two or three gauges are better than one!
 


I had read this or something similar on another forum. It's part of what we talked about last night that maybe the ICM got heated up. However with Swiggles running close to the same setup w/o issues.. hmmm

Although he is not running all the plastic pieces in the front end. IIRC his plastic left before he ever got to modding.
 
yes my plastic peice left along time ago but id like to get new ones back in there. i will say when i added that FHME my engine temps went up a little bit.

i had a stalling issue before i topswapped and it was due to my wiring harness being cut from rubbing where it goes above the radiator. i also had alot of corrosion on the wires right after the fuse box, ive also saw this on another harness i took apart.

Bill i have a vacumm line coming off my TB that you put the tap into. mines the newer style N*
 
my engine temps would also sit at 176 on the AF gauge with my fan settings.

and now that i think really hard about it, i think my car was stalling last time i left Bill's, and it was because of the MAF settings irrc. it would stall when i came to red lights.
