Four Sixer's Red Ripper

I think he means below the bottom of the bumper. There was a mention of that somewhere recently. Lots of guys have them even lower and end up hitting things.

Like this. Fugly and dangerous.

Funny you posted that Regal because that's exactly who I was thinking of. Saw that car on ClubGP.

Nice car otherwise though

well spoke to bill, we have a few bugs to workout. the car stalled out about 6 times on the highway coming home. since the car is equip with a basic tune, i did not take it beyond 2500 rpm. the first breakdown was in traffic on the passing lane. how embarrassing! after the car cooled of i go again. the check engine light came on PO171 (system lean bank 1)

Guys, when talking to Len, his indications were that once it cooled under the hood it would stay running. Fuel pressure was good, it sounded ok, but would sputter and die out. He was able to drive it with the hood popped.

To me this sounds like an electrical item is heating up and killing spark. Since nearly everything was touched, I'm thinking ICM/crank sensor.

One other thing I thought of was, this is the first time I routed IC coolant hoses over the coils to keep from going through the belt path. Not sure if that would heat them up that much more and maybe cause the ICM to in turn heat up. Having looked around it appeared that it didn't cause any issues.

Off to research further. All ideas are welcome.

yup mines leaking from the drain plug and i only tapped it going into a parking lot once!

ICM being bolted to the cast bracket heats it up.

Try spacing the ICM and see how it does then.

If it was like this from the factory then why would it all of a sudden be a problem? His has the bonne tensioner assembly so I am unsure if that would be the issue. Never hurts to try though.

Len, do you have an aeroforce gauge at all to monitor codes/erase codes? How is it at idle?

max, i dont have and aeroforce yet. i just found a borla catback system to fix my leaking exhaust. the resonator rotted! would the rotted resonator contribute
