Was on rt90 heading into cleveland over the weekend going with the flow of traffic and I pull along side
A mercury mauradar. It looked stock sounded stock aftermarket wheels was all I noticed. He must have
been mad my car was stayin beside him or was tryin to impress his girl in the passenger seat because
he jumped on the gas and so did I. We stayed even until 115 then I had to get off at my exit. So not a
kill but an even match. I always heard those cars were nasty in stock form (for a 4door).

cool story bro

wikipedia for information on them, I found out its a 302 HP engine used from a Mustang Mach 1

dont they have the same driveline components?

Nope. Similar, but not the same. Besides that, it's a completely different platform... The last thing that qualified as a "4 door mustang" was a LTDII in the mid 80's with the 5.0. Those were Fox platforms.

I remember them, I didn't know they were Fox platforms. I bought a Granada ESS and my brother-in-law wanted to out do me so he bought a LTDII. The Granada wasn't actually a bad car except it needed a whole new suspension system.

I apologise I just thought "four door mustang" was a catchy title. I knew the driveline was similar.

I'm just happy I could keep even with it. I did not know my car could do that.

I deeeed.
