• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Found a new hood design

Lmao, no... no, it did'nt. The box might of added a extra hp due to the stock airbox restriction, but the hood did'nt contribute.

ummmm..... so ram air is just a cool word? and does nothing? i guess now i can buy a GTO cause a ram air hood is pointless

most people dont see any performance gains with a ram air setup over any other aftermarket or homebrew intake.

Ram air does absolutely nothing as far as 'ramming' air into the intake unless your traveling at a very high rate of speed, and even that is referring to a ram air set-up on a forward facing engine vehicle. It gives you absolutely no gains on a car with a motor that sits sideways.

looks too busy. it might look better in a dark color (black, burgundy, etc) so it doesn't highlight the arcs and lines of the scoops so much. a little subtleness goes a long way.

Agreed.

That hood should not be on that car. It doesnt match any contour. Might as well have a mailbox on there and at least that might give some performance gain.

Id love for someone to make a hood that resembles a ford gt/gt40 hood, if there was enough room. Not to the same depth of course. Forget scoops I wanna see real inverted vents.
