Hahaha I thought the same thing. It probably wouldn't make much of a difference with how hilly and such the roads are on horizon. Still sucks tho.

You apparently missed all the press stuff before it hit the shelves. They said this game was going to be a LOT more casual, a lot less hardcore serious.

New guy, starts kicking ass, beats Darius Flynt, win Horizon champion title, still only 64th most popular racer.
Makes sense.

if any of you got the S5S raptor. the only thing that car is good for is drifting.
so.
to level up popularity quickly.
throw it in 3rd. and drift around the Festival circle for like 15-20 and watch your popularity rise!
