The BF3 open beta was pretty awesome. I would get bf3. But when MW3 comes out.. Who's still going to play bf? I'm probably going to get both -.-

MW3 looks more of the same. just fast paced intense action but battlefield 3 is where the real fun is, blowing junk up to pieces.

Since it seems that multiplayer is a big part of both games, and multiplayer is better with friends....

I would count how many friends are getting BF3 and then count how many are getting Forza 4. Don't forget to take into account the availability of each friend to play with as well. Whichever game has the most amount of active friends I would buy.

I use a gaming laptop for BFBC2 right now, and in my opinion Battlefield is a helluvalot better than CoD is anymore. You get the same environment of CoD but better graphics, destructible environment, and if you are sick of the squad team deathmatch stuff with no vehicles you can go into the big leagues with 64 freaking people and blow **** up on an epic scale. So for surez BF3 > MW3.
Now im fairly set on getting Forza 4 this weekend and should be able to buy BF3 a week after it comes out, or about. I use both laptop and console for gaming so its not that big of a deal. :th_jester:
