i realize i cant do my challenge haha...it was just what i was thinking about, btw, i bought paint today MUHAHAHA...i wish i could do my challenge

I don't like where that is going. Anything vinyl or fabric you could be painting in your monte can't be a good idea... :X

engine cover, maybe a fuse box or two, if they are easy to get off lol...

my gas cap, hmmm...i cant think of anything else, but im gonna wait on painting the interior until i know for 100% sure that the paint is going to stand up and not flake off...and then i might do some simple stuff inside...nothing drastic

If you're painting plastic stuff, why did you buy vinyl paint? Fuse box cover, plastic. Engine cover, plastic. Gas cap, plastic.

vinyl...as in, it is like spray on vinyl...pretty much...

im just gonna see how its gonna work, the guy at napa said it should work, but he wouldnt give me a 100% lol...if it doesnt, oh daymn, $17 outta my pocket...sucks, but still...its something fun to do

I know what DupliColor Vinyl & Fabric paint is, I've used it before. It's meant for painting vinyl and fabric. I've never heard such a thing as spray on vinyl. Take it back now and get a refund, because it's 100% the wrong paint.
 
the vinyl paint is the only paint that will hold onto the plastic as it gets heated by the motor...it is actually made to adhear to a ton of things...fabric it doesnt do so well...but plastic and vinyl and someother stuff it works awesome...i had a link...lost it now though
 


Weird, so I guess every other member that's ever painted their plastic parts under there hood had their paint burn off.
Go drive your car, then pop your hood and touch your fuse box. If it burns your hand, then regular plastic paint won't hold up. Engine cover might get warm, but not enough to burn the paint off.
 
ok, maybe i will use that stuff for the engine cover, but only if this stuff doesnt work...and if it does, im going to probably do some interior stuff also...
 


This is a Picture game thread not why is dude using vinyl paint to paint plastic thread.. lol If someone doesnt do this soon im just going to take something random off my car and paint it just so this one is DONE! lol
