a friend is telling me that the I could buy a 893 bulb and they would fit and they are 37 watts vs 27 and are a little brighter? anyone tried this would they work?
 




I dont want hids because When I get them I want a decent kit not a cheap one and I dont wanna spend the money right now. I have more important things to replace on my car.
 
I didnt get silverstars. I got 893 bulbs for 6 bucks. I bought a kit from vvme for my headlights and the ballast wasnt even right. It had this extra wire that no one knew what it was for. If and when I get a kit its gonna be one that is deff gonna work
 
Ill get some pics up later.. but I had them all plugged in and only one side would work.. and I got fed up with them and put my stockers back in.
 


I had a thread before let me see if I can find it. Ik they work because they work with my stock harness but I didnt wanna keep em like that. Plus one of stopped working like within 2 weeks. Idk if the ballast went out or what..
 
I run my ballasts on my stock harness and haven't ever had an issue. Not sure why you don't want to, but you sure can.
