hey -- i know i saw a pic and some info awhile back, but cant find it now.

im gettin 6000K hids, and i want to change out my stock fog bulbs to something that is close in color, without going to HID's there too... anyone have any reccomendation for those?

I have Silverstar's -4000k. According to the back of the box, I guess it is the brightest before you go into the HID's. ?

want to match color as best possible, not really worried about brightness.. they'll be bright enough.

Hey Toasty...

Just an FYI.....I have been looking for a set to match my 6000K's as well, and have not had any luck....I was going to go with the silverstars, but they are 40 bucks for the pair, so my thinking is why not throw another 30 with that and go HID so I know for sure. I think that is the route that I'm going with.

Man....I've got some bulbs that are really close. Thing is I can't remember what the numbers are. I think the brand is Toucan or something.....sorry.

i searched on ebay, and found some of the "hid style" 6000K 880 bulbs, under $10 shipped havent ordered them yet though.... no name bulbs obviously....

I tried 4 different blubs including Silverstars (A friend had an 880) none of them came remotely close to matching my 6k HIDs. My solution? Get 880 6K HIDs too, problem solved...

I wouldn't waste money on finding a matching blub, theres a good chance you won't find one. I had blubs that were all blue and they still looked yellow compared to the HIDs...

Very true. That's why I"m gonna go ahead and get the whole thing done. Because one thing I can't stand is to have two different colors mixing it up on the road ahead of me. :th_sick1:
