FM3 Pics Thread

If your good at season play, you shouldn't have to worry about money.. They give you more then enough cars to get through the game just by winning tournaments. I'm on race 10 of 13 for the R1 classes and have 2.5 million.. You shouldn't have to worry about the discounts either.. better to just use the cars they give you and get money.

^^Agreed. If you don't modify your cars you'll save so much money. But i'm a whore and spend all my money on crap I don't need to.

Even though I know some people don't like this car..

Do you have tune a car to make it a good drifter? Sorry newb here lol.

What do you focus on tuning?

I actually have yet to tune it for drifting. The tuning in this game is SOO overwhelming. I have tuned it thus far for Drags and can manage a 10.1 out of it with a solid launch. That required reducing the tire pressure, lowering the gear ratio to around 3.96, and adjusting the ride height for grip. I also ran it with trac control on and manual w/ clutch. Other than that I haven't tuned anything.

It wold be good to use the cars they give u to save money BUT im a american muscle guy an they rarely ever give u an american car to use; usually always some foreign car. I always try to use the cars i like in real life that i would love driving not some crazy foreign car i never heard of. Although most of the foreign cars perform better on the track, still just my own personal taste.

Your not far enough then...I've got a bunch of American cars.

Deck out the Iroc-Z. It can't turn for ****!

Oh...so you have the game?

Do you have the steering wheel? If you don't why would you be using a manual w/ clutch?

I don't have a wheel, but in the drags manual with clutch will knock your e/t atleast a half second. Automatic shifts to early and straight manual has a fraction of a second slower shift. Regularly I just use an automatic.

I did some extensive drag racing tuning on my R32 and managed to slip into 9.9xx territory and sitting at about 1,500 on the leaderboards.

Lol, I figured that's what it was. I got your message, but I have no dice at the moment. I should be able to float it to you really soon. Should be getting some back from books on half.com.
