So i've decided on getting some of FLIP's tinted tail lights. However i'm not sure how dark to get them. I don't want to get rear ended in broad daylight and i don't want trouble with cops (which makes dark out of the question). I'm unsure between light and medium and was wondering what you guys thought. If it helps at all i have a 97 white gp with 20% tint on my windows which makes me think that light tint will be fine because it will "pop" with the white paint.

I did mine with 3 coats of VHT i believe i really do not get messed with by the cops and the lights aren't to hard to see in the day, unless the sun hits them just right

Any tint on your tails will attract cops, if that's seriously a concern, don't have them tinted.

If cops don't matter, go medium to dark.
 
Go medium. I have mine medium on my black 04. In dim light/at night, they blend in with the car but still allow plenty of light. In sunlight, you can still see red and they still allow plenty of light.
 


Would you mind asking him to pm me ?... I had my inferno repainted and they didn't bother to take out my custom 3rd brake and messed it up .... Was hoping flip could fix me up
