Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Flip-flops and driving...

No need to take the load off. If it's life or death.. turn the key off. That is going to help. Pressing the brakes would help as well.

One of the largest issues in the world is that people don't know how to react in an emergency. In earlier times, they would have died. Medicine though has progressed to give them many chances to kill themselves and others.

Common sense isn't very common.

Hammer to Nail right there. Can anyone prove us wrong?.... Life`s Hard, but it`s alot harder if your stupid. But its our duty as stupid americans to undo what our "criminal" founding fathers created (Freedom) with our socialist thoughts. We must help these "stupider" people. Ya should at least have to pass a IQ test to get help with reproducing and a drug test to get welfare. Instead, we are actually helping/provoking stupid people/family's to get stupider. No its not always your fault your stupid, but why is that our problem?

Responsible people don`t need laws to tell them how to act responsible. Others find ways around the laws.

^In response to that, mankind itself has eliminated the process of natural selection. By helping the dumbasses along, nature can't weed them and their bad genes out of the gene pool

Yes it can, people for "unknown" reasons veer off road and hit trees, or go into caverns, canyons, deep ditches, etc... People do all sorts of stupid things to themselves to allow for natual selection to take its course. Unfortunately alot of the time it also results in the stupid people taking out a innocent by-standard in his/her wake.

For those that happen to relate my statement to "Ryan Dunn" (he came to my mind and I don't want to create an uprising over him) he was a stupid jackass, but he was my FAVORITE stupid jackass, and we will miss him dearly. I meant no disrespect by it, just happen to cross my mind during my writing this.

Sorry......must be the socialist in me. :th_winking:

The last time I saw boots like those, they were attached to a five year old :) And the Loafers, a tall black guy with a fake Rolex.

I think one way to help with the "OMG PANIC!!!!!" mode that many people get into is to somehow, someway, practice for situations like stuck gas pedals, non-responsive brake pedals, driving off the road and over-correcting, skidding, etc etc etc.

I remember in our drivers ed class they TOLD us what to do in certain situations, but we never actually PRACTICED what they told us.
I was telling my dad this and before long he was trying to simulate certain situations with me behind the wheel. The first time I was driving his old truck and it started skidding (thanks to icy roads and no ABS) I freaked, but after doing it enough I'm much more confident with myself.
It's just my

but if people were to actually practice for a situations like this they might subconsciously remember how to react correctly instead of going into "panic mode."

Given how little there is to do in my "city", I guess my playing around in the car payed off, dirt roads became rally tracks in trucks, regular street racing and high speed cornering, and it doesn't get very Icy here in southern Oklahoma but when it does... OOOOOoooooooooo boy do we have fun :th_laugh-lol3:

It's illegal to drive in flip flops or without footwear in Virginia.

I drive without footwear if I've got flip-flops on though.

hmm maybe? lol well one time me and her were cruising and she was driving. a kid in a GA tried racing her and she beat him once, then the second time she missed a shift because of her flip flops -_-. damn i miss her shifting the car at 8k at every light

Being a female, I do drive with flip flops on. However I do catch myself taking the right one off while driving. And driving in heels is tricky sometimes no matter what height the heel is (i almost always take right heel off while driving).

And, not to long ago there was a young girl 18 maybe? driving her younger brothers to a baseball game, flip flop got stuck, she swerved into on coming traffic and the car got t-boned. Killer her brothers in the back seat instantly.

It's sad that it happens.
