Flat black GTP?

IF i were to murder out a GP i would do gloss black with tints and gloss tinted tails gloss black rims and black housing headlights

BUT i like a little contrast in my cars, i got a buddy murdering out an 04 and its commin along nicely

take it from someone who has a flat black vehicle: it gets SO DIRTY. you cant even touch the sum***** without it leaving a fingerprint. DONT DO IT.

A buddy around here has a flat black gtp that he painted with rattle can, it doesn't look horrible but if you put more time and quality into it it wouldn't look to bad ill snap a picture next time I see it

You'd HAVE to get it done right. There are a few flat black cars around, and they looks almost the same as the primer camaro around here.

I know about all the problems with flat black paint, ie. every time you touch it with anything it leaves kind of a white line behind until you wash it. Had a jeep that was murdered flat, looked bad F***EN ass.

there is also a G35 around here that is done in flat, it looks good except for the gloss red tails...

just didnt know what the GP would look like flat... or any 4 door car with smooth lines. have a mental image of it, and it doesnt look that good, hoping there is a pic that would change my mind...

who knows, i might 'goth' it out, metallic silver base, hit it with some black from a torch and some crumpled up newspaper, then a few coats of candy apple red ontop.

anyone else have any ideas that are kind of 'one of a kind', that i could steel?

thanks for all the input.

As long as it actually looks flat black... and not spray paint black... like ive seen on some of the ricers around here

my bike is flat and i wish i would have taken the time to actually make it a nicer color. it looks cool from like 20 feet away, but other than that im starting to dislike it. im gonna paint it again this winter.

And have a giant sticky covered car? No Ive been saying for along time if you have a coupe do a Flat dark charcoal grey like the lambos with gloss black wheels and yellow brake calipers a 2 door GP could pull off that look very well I bet and Ive never seen it done! Some one do this !!!

^thats a good idea, but I'm not to sure that would work for a 4dr. and red calipers would look better I think, not a fan of yellow.

I think im gonna take bio's advice and not do flat black. If its a car that you want to keep clean I dont think its gonna be a good idea. The jeep was fine flat black cause it was always covered in mud.

Chevy arrival blue??? 2 tone???

maybe ill try to figure out photoshop to come up with something...

No the whole point is for the yellow calipers to stick out behind the gloss black wheels and stealth grey paint, if you insist do blue calipers at the very least id say easily 8/10 painted calipers are red need to be different!!! If i was good at photochop Id do my old 02 GP Coupe

I really don't think flat black would look good on a GP. I have always thought flat colors look better on more squared body lines. I just don't think the style of the GP is conducive to flat colors.
