Flashing security light

Happens every time I plug in a code reader. Last time it let me go for a week before the car wouldn't start. Did the 10 min on/off cycling to reprogram the key. Came on again yesterday and the car wouldn't start this morning.

Try discounting the battery overnight. My security light is on while I'm programming with hptuners. I never had a security problem except once when it didn't program right and timed out. Car wouldn't even try to start, everything went dead when I turned the key. Took that Pcm out for a few days, when I put it back in everything worked fine.
