flanging from 2.5 inch downpipe to 3 inch exhaust?

I want to buy a 3 inch catback, and it has a 3 inch flange to hook up to the downpipe. i plan to get headers later on when i get the money... but for now does anyone sell a flange that gos from 2.5 inch to 3 inch so i could bolt up this catback? I want to keep the catbacks 3 inch flange, and have the downpipes 2.5 open up to a 3 inch exit.

I have talked to ZZP personally about this situation for my friends car:

They will, for an additional $20 weld a 2.5" to 3" adapter onto their catback for you so it'll bolt onto your 2.5" exit D/P. I have no opinion on the idea just thought I'd tell you

yea... only problem is sending them in my downpipe... my car is a daily driver :/
 
yea, because the thing is im getting a sick deal i think. i might be buying one for 400 bucks plus shipping used for about 2000 miles. I could buy it new for like 750. im trying to figure out if i should do i can do this stuff or not before i go ahead and buy it becasue my plan originally was to get it when i got headers later on
