Just like the title says.... First tattoo. Got it for a graduation present. parents paid 300 for it, it took 9 hours of ink, going in for few touch ups in a few weeks

im not a fan of tribal tattoos at all, but it'll look sweet when you take your shirt off in front of women. :th_burger:
 
Not the burger again! Bio you are keeping that thing alive...

but honestly if the tattoo has some meaning to you then thats what matters. Both mine have a deep meaning that I want to keep with me. I want one more and that all I have planned but itll be a long time cause its going to be expensive and take a ton of work
 


i have big plans on getting way more tattoos, but my other expenses keep getting in the way (car, bike, house, etc.).
 
im also surprised you went so big with your first tattoo in such an obvious spot.

can i assume youre 18 and didnt know any better? i have an ugly tattoo from when i was 18 too. ;)
 


$300 for 9 hours of tattooing is CHHHHHHEAP!

And congrats on sitting through it all.

But yeah. Definitely, definitely get that touched up.
 
Im sorry dude but I gotta agree with Roca on this one, that thing is hideous IMO. Too big, Too black, and TOO PLAIN... I have multiple friends that started with a couple small ones and worked into sleeves and the different pieces work well together. You didn't really leave any room for growth right there.
I could just be biased against it as I HATE tribal tats but as long as your happy with it, Gratz and keep going, and don't let anyone make you regret it.

BTW post another pic of it in a few days once the redness and swelling is gone away, may look better :th_thumbsup-wink:
 
it is addictive, im working on a sleeve and i have a big pontiac tattoo on my back (was my first one when i turned 18). props for sitting through 9hours
 
My next one will be a little larger than my first. My first took just over 2 hours and ran me around $170. Probably going to be on my left bicep. . .
