Hello. This is my first forum post on here. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks trying to find some How-to's. Unfortunately, I haven't found the one I'm looking for; although I found some interesting information about Dex-cool. Apparently I had the same problem as some other folks on here. I'm pretty sure it also ruined my heater core. Two questions, will I need to replace the radiator due to the Dex-cool issue? and also does anyone know of a write-up on heater core removal/replacement? I bought a Haynes manual, but it's kinda vague on the issue. I've removed seats, console, radio, HVAC, etc, etc. The heater core is still very difficult to get to. Is there a way to remove the whole dash to get to the heater core? Also, does anyone have a good way to remove the heater core cover? There are only a few screws, but there are some plastic pieces that need to be removed. I'm at a loss and my wife is chomping at the bit to have her car back! Any response is greatly appreciated!
