Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

looks to be coming form the cover. time to dive into that fun. worst part is taking the balancer off. if you have air tools its a breeze.

Scotty talked me through an 07 timing cover gasket replacement a couple of months ago. Can't find the thread, but wasn't too bad. Use a fel-pro gasket. Got in there deep.

Thank's guys.I knew I would get a response that will get me back on the road.I have vacation coming up in a week so it look's like Football Bowl games and wrenches are in my future.

Scotty's good about talking people into saving money and doing jobs on your own. He and BillBoost talked me into roofing my own home. While it did save me a lot of cash I don't plan on taking that on ever again.

Aren't those power steering pumps a real mother fvcker to put the bolts back on? Turn pulley, put bolt through pulley, hold your tounge just right, ooops not good enough... Try again.

I'm glad I don't own a Firebird or Trans-AM I hear just changing the plugs on them you almost have to drop the motor. :th_thumb-down:

PS is easy Ryan.

Extension and a flashlight make it easy when the alternator isn't on there. I usually do the PS pumps so Brian didn't lose his mind.

Except on your car.

:)

I ended up having to use a small bolt as a spacer to make the puller I had work. The main bolt was not long enough. Supercharger balancer also.

I can understand why Brian would lose his mind. Those things are bastards.

After looking at the pic by the OP I really hope that is not where my current car is leaking. I'm going to do the LIM this weekend and hope for the best. My car seems like it's pissing itself in the parking garage.

Update..It was timing cover gasket. It took all weekend and advice from five finger and Scotty.Thank you so much for helping a guy who knew so little. The feeling I got letting car sit last night than adding fluids this morning with no leaks and heat again was great.
