i don't have to prove anything. i have the paper work i don't need anyones approval to know how my car performs before and after modifications
 


that chart is for naturally aspirated. the series 2 3800 sc engine was rated at 240 hp and 280 ftlb of torque. that chart is for my type of engine which shows a gain of around 15. sorry i round up. i know if says s/c engine but the chart is for N/A engine

They used a chassis dyno which measures the power at the wheels.

190-200 WHP is what a S/C series 2 typically produces.

A N/A series II is typically around 150-160 WHP.

no. the chart is for the L67, the S/C 3.8.

they rate at 240hp, but do note that those numbers are CRANK hp. not to the wheels, as that chart shows.
 
either way its still got to be similar gains for my car. there isn't much of a difference between the engines. all i know is after i installed the intake there was clearly a noticeable difference in performance. Acceleration from a stop and while on a roll has improved big time. no matter what the numbers its a good upgrade and worth the money
 
99...we've had some issues with outrageous claims by members/former members. As a whole the community can be quick to make certain that there's a tangible difference between data/numbers and claims. Try not to take it personally...but we take a lot of pride when we post information about our vehicles including real world results.

So um...how's the audio side of things?! :D
 


how is it not realistic? K&n makes THE best intakes and filters. you guys make it sound like I'm physco. Its a legit performance part
