so i was on my way home from work wit my co-worker and a 1.8 turbo jetta pulled up wit AEM stickers and a bunch of other stuff on his windows that was supposly done to it.. I'm not gonna lie the exhaust sounded ... ok.. hah but anyway i was ignoring him every street light but we would pull up and he would just look over and rev his engine and really after the 5th street light we caught I couldn't take it anymore... so the light is red and he is just looking over his shoulder and just reving his engine, I just give him a head shake.. I drop it into first and turn perf. shift on, light turns green and I just give it all and I dig him out the hole and before I could even shift into 2nd my co-worker says man you got him I look in my mirror and hes atleast 2 cars back, really.. i was surprised, I slow down and he pulls up and says.. "I need to learn how to shift!"... I just laugh and roll away... But like the title says "first and only"... I don't like to race but this lil punk deserved what he got!...
 


hah yea theres alot of ppl around waterloo iowa like that... and ive been thinkiin about sellin my 20s and start moddin but i dk.. hah
 
I'd say sell them...for $1,000 or whatever you get out of them if you mod right you should be able to grab a 3.4" setup :D
 
lol yea ive been searching and what not if i mod i believe i should b in the right direction of that!!... but my 20s are almost brand new and i believe around here i can atleast get 1500 for them... i dk what it is but ppl drool over my car with the 20s and really i wanna sell them
 
just have a lil question.. i use to own a 91 eagle talon awd turbo and i put alot of time and money into it and some dumb broad blind sided me and ever sense then ive been worrying about puttin money into a car... can these cars handle all them mods??

and after all my blood and sweat this is what happens when a female says she didnt see (no offense to females on this site!!) you in the rain and just turns into you.. she was drivin a brand new escalade didnt even have plates on yet!!.. and sadly i had no Ls :th_shakinghead2:
 
Ha sounds like a fun little race. always fun to burry those people like that that really donno what they r messing w/. i love your 20s but i can see why you would have the desire to mod. i know i have the mod bug. Btw i love your dsm it looks nice an your engine bay was supper clean. my friend an i built up a gsxlast year! it was fast an fun but then he decided to sell it. i still wish i had bought it from him. Sorry about the loss of your tsi they r nice cars an fast too esp the awd ones as long as you can get them tuned right an get them to the point where they are fairly reliable.
 
Yup...these cars are great with mods...you just have to do them right and not skimp on the small stuff. Do it right the first time and you won't have to fix something later...like me lol
 
yea man i miss my tsi way bad especially durin the winter the awd got me thru anything lol... but yea if i can sell the 20s ill pry get back into moddin
