so, i was walking around the cleveland auto show today, when i spotted a person selling euro dezigns parts., so naturally i checked it out. among the sales floor were hid's. so i looked, and they were $25 for both! i started talking to him, cuz naturally i thought there was a catch, but i was wrong. 8500k hid's with a LIFETIME WARRENTY for $25 out the door. so naturally i bought them :th_biggrin2: so tomorrow i will have them on and will post pics of the lights post install :th_thumbsup-wink: here is the pre install, and the lights themselves.

if there are no ballasts, they are not HID's

using xenon gas instead of halogon doesnt seem like it'd be that big of a deal, just a different colour light.
 
just put 8000k's in today, couldn't be happier with them. i can actually see things at night now! haha
 


i figured so to tell the truth. but it doesnt matter for 2 reasons. one, they are lifetime, so no more paying for bulbs. and 2, when i get my new lights, i will be putting in 4000k REAL hid's. i knew they werent the real deal, but didnt kno they were that cheap on ebay. i just bought them cuz the lights i have kinda suck, and they were decently cheap.
