Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Quick Review - Excellent performance tire?



i just got a pair of nitto 5555r's drag radials. for about 320 shipped a pair. the best damn tire i ever had on the car, i can still spin them but it grips so much better, ive not done a burn out and then went for the hammer yet on the street. ran them for a week then the temps dropped so off they came. in the end i bought them for track use only, but had to test em out of course.

these even hooked up very well in the rain to my surprise. a set of 4 would change the whole way the car handles for sure.
 
Thanks for sharing. I went with SUMITOMO HTR A/S all around back in spring 2016 via Tire Rack. Probably not quite as good as the above. Still provide good lateral grip for what the stock suspension can do.
