FIPK install question

I have a 02 GTP and have purchased a FIPK for it and can't get it to fit. I spoke to someone at K&N and they told me this should also fit this Supercharged car. It does not fit in the space in front of the wheel. Does anybody out ther have a GTP with this kit on it? Part number is 57-3045 this in the one K&N said would fit.

Welcome! This would be seen by more eyes if it was in the correct forum, especially since I don't think a lot of people have FIPK's.
 
First of all welcome. I have a FIPK on a 2000 GTP. I don't know the part number, but it does fit great. If I remeber it was a tricky getting it in right the first time.

Welcome. i had one on my 2000 gtp for awhile it was a bit tricky to slip in but it fits perfectly if u follow ur directions
 
I guess your not ready for a cam install yet J.K. I have the K&N kit and it fits great you obviously are doing something wrong ,first off put this question in the proper forum then try posting pics of what your issue is I do'nt see how it would'nt fit unless you have the wrong part number?
