• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Finally upgraded

you have cinder blocks and some bricks?

ghetto fabulous right here. note the hols are up and down. do not drive up on the blocks with the holes to the side, thats the weakness to the block, they stack with the holes up.

if you have a few ols boards 2x4, 04 2x6 planls you can build them up and drive up too. its mainly to get all the screws and clips from under the lip. you need room for a nut driver or screw driver or a pick for the clips.

i got mine off in about 20 minutes not knowing what i was looking for really, just looking finding and removing all clips screws, bolts and it comes right off.

if your gonna have the bumper off for a while bag all the hardware so its not lost.

I thought about just leaving the front on and just taking the back off cuz the right tip is hitting the bumper

. You can kind of see it in the pic

i hate to say it but theres 3 large clips low on the rear bumper. 9 at least on a regal, take a peek under there)

i backed up on ramps to get them off.

if your painting them your self like i did. take your head lights out, then wash wet sand or scotch bright pad the paint while the bumper is still on the car, this way its held in place while you work on it. do any repairs on the car too., once its prepped take it off, then prep the edges that you could not do when it was on the car.

i used a tall saw horse to hold it. its got adjustable legs too.

your muffler tip there, you should be able to reach the metal bars that the rubber hanger slides onto, then bent it down a bit, theres 2 of them for each muffler.

you'll need ramps so you can get your body under the car tho, unless your super skinny lol im not.

Lol I'm 6'3 234 lbs I'm not skinny ha but I took it to a muffler shop and I even got to look under it and idk y it's bent up like that

we are in the same boat, im 6'6 and 250 lol i needed the car up in the air some to work better.

if its the factory cat back it maybe bent up some, if its new mufflers they f ed up a bit. but it can be fixed.

No it's like I hit something and it bent a little bit at the bend under the passenger seat

you could try putting a jack or wood block under the pipe on both sides of the bent pipe, then pull the bend down as much as you can. if its old it maybe thing and just break, you'll know when you pull on it if its to easy to move.

once again this is where jack stands or ramps come in handy, ive driven one side of the car up on ramps to do exhaust work on my car. you have to turn the wheels some and set the ramp for the front wheel at a angle and drive on the ramp turning some, can be done.

you can also take large pair of channel lock pliers and try to crush the pipe, if it crushes easy, like you can dent it, dont pinch it off. its gonna be soft.

That maybe next. I'm more worried about taking bumpers off lol I'm sure it will b fine I'm doing black plasti dip wheels and the gold valances tonight!

bumpers are cake, like i said it took me 20 minutes each to get them off. went in totally blind for both. never did it before.

just take anything that looks like its holding it on the car off. that easy.

Ok looking into getting some hid's from vvme what ones should I go with? And I'm also looking for a scan tool any suggestions on good ones that aren't $100+

i may be responsible for 4 or 5 guys picking that up. cant beat the price. beats the hell out going to the parts store waiting on line then listen to the fool who working the scanner. then print out the code for you. then try to sell you something lol and most wont clear the code for you either.

if my cel lights up these days i know whats its for evap or egr, so i plug it in while driving, scan and clear on the go lol fits in the console just fine too.

Mine does all I have to do is ask he goes to the back and brings it out then let's me do what I need to do. That was when I had my EGR plugged in tho lol it's unplugged with electrical tape on both ends and zip tied down
