• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Finalized LIM gasket plans

I don't know where the driver side axles part came from - **** if that's the case I been doing my lim gaskets wrong this whole time! ;)

Can I see the pictures? I've never seen the what everything under the timing cover looks like? I don't even know how to remove the timing cover lol.

top left is the little port that can crack with a 97-98 alt bracket with cast elbow.

Spend 8 bucks and get one of those plastic under bed storage totes. Slides tight under car and will catch every drop of coolant.

Dang, that's not what I expected it to look like. I'm used to seeing distinctive covers on RWD cars (internet pics). I never would've guessed that for this car lol.

all this dumb bracket and elbows do its get coolant to the heater core. long way to go for a heater core lines...id like to smack the crap out of who ever said, hey look at this! lets go this route!! and then beat the tar out of all who said, yes lets do it that way.....

True, I mean there's like 2 feet of tubing just in the engine bay for the heater hoses. But then again, I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it where it wouldn't mess up the placement of other things on the motor.

people have tapped the holes and put an fittings in the holes. then ran the hoses right to the ports. the aussies got a better set up too of course.

I think I remember seeing on RockAuto that there was like a DOHC engine for Mexico and like a turbo model for European cars. Is this true? Like what do those motors look like then? And did the Aussie's have a different motor too?

I remember one Holden car that was their variant of the G8, but can't remember what's it called off the top of my head.
