Ok so i just did a motor swap on my 97 gtp, with a motor from a 98..i got all the wiring hooked up, and all the vacuum lines hooked up, and now i start the car and it runs terrible and smokes out my garage. It threw a p1626 code, but that does not seem to be the issue..it runs like it has a huge cam in it, and the headers get suuuper hot even after running for like 30 secs. any help would be appriciated thanks guys

well p1626 is Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Lost so u could be running lean check all your connections make sure there are no broken wires also wich pcm are you running the 98 or 97 pcm cause if u have a 97 gp u need a 97 pcm 98+ wont work

all connections are good and im running the 97 pcm, im not sure why its bringing up that code..

ya thats weird but isnt that code somthing to do with the bcm
