Faulty TPS Round 1,281,753

Seriously getting tired of going 1-3 weeks with the car running flawlessly then wake up the next day and have the damn TPS sensor start acting up again. I've replaced the TPS twice now, fixed a vacuum leak, and today P0121 came up which tells me its a short. So that being said, where is this "short" coming from? Help me get this fixed once and for all. I'm sick and tired of dealing with the TPS

Check them and fix them?

Usually they can have issues over the exhaust area. So maybe 8-10 inches of wire and the connector will usually fix it up. Right ScottyDoggs?

Alright so today I went outside and inspected this issue a little more, I noticed that the car runs fine without the TPS being hooked up. I disconnected it from the car (not the throttle body) and the car ran perfectly. I connected it back on and the car still ran fine. Sound more like a harness issue?

Also make sure the pins in the connector are tight and not loose. They could be creating a loose connection to the sensor.
