Fantasy Football '14

i thought it was always 16 picks, but with less people in the league everyone has a better team (obviously).
 


17 picks in my league as well. We had 16 last year, but obviously added a pick with making it a 2 QB league.
 
Before tonight I was down 127 to 115. I had 3 to play and my opponent had 1 left.

Well, Stafford went off tonight for 33, Jennings got me 19 and Tate got me 15. That is good enough to give me a lead of 182 to 127. My opponent still has Fitz to play in the late game tonight, but unless he is Superman, Batman, Spiderman, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Splinter all combined I think I have the win locked up.
 
Well I wanna bump this because Big Ben is the effin man. Got 56 out of him alone. I am up 155 to 55. My opponent and I both have 2 to play so I can pretty much say this is locked up.

My record is 3-4 currently. Shady has completely sh!t the bed this season and is not giving me the numbers he did last year. Other weeks I have played teams that completely went off and my team only barely hit their projections, if at all. Not pleased with my record, but there are still 4 weeks left at the conclusion of this week, so I could still make my way back to the top of the division.
 


big ben sat on my bench and got 74 points. emmanual sanders also sat on the bench and got 35.5 points.

this week wasn't good for me, haha.
 
So I finished our regular season at a disappointing 5-7. I lost the final 3 games of the regular season, but I made the playoffs at a #6 seed. Last week was week 1 and I won that match 188-175 against last years champion/the commish. Week 1 was totally nuts where the 1, 2, and 3 seed all lost to the underdogs.

Week 2 pitted me at #6 versus #7 and #4 versus number #8.

The 4 versus 8 game is over with #4 winning 191-140.

My game started off poorly. I did not realize that DeSean Jackson was ruled out until it was too late. I was playing 10 players versus 11 players of my opponent. The ironic thing is when I played the same opponent in the regular season I only had 10 players just due to poor thinking on my part and being screwed by bye weeks. I still won that match.....

At this point I am winning the match 163-134. I have Steven Jackson left to play, while my opponent has Jordy Nelson.

While my win is not guaranteed I am breathing a little easier. If I beat him again with 10 players he is probably not going to be very happy.

What was even more ironic is the week after he lost to me with only 10 players, he won a game with only 10 players. Go figure.

As long as Jordy Nelson does not have an epic career game and Steven Jackson does at least something I will be in the championship game for the 2nd straight year (only second year in this league) facing the wife of the commish. She is a tough opponent and I would not be surprised if she wins it all.
 
Luckily I got a 1st round buy this week because I would have lost to the #6 seed...I am #1 at 11-2...hopefully I do better next week when I actually have to play lol
