• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Fan speed switch

same thing here, it works on 2,3,4 and 5 but not on 1. I went to the junk yard to replace the control switch but it kept doing the same thing. I guess is something in the blower.

normally it dosent bother me but when im on the highway speed 2 will be too much sometimes and i want 1.. o well cant have everything lol

yes, sometimes, specially at night, 2 is too much, I have to switch from max ac to normal ac.

do you know how to fix that? is it something complicated?

Fan resistor switch is under the dash next to the blower motor. Its a pain to get to but you can do it. You have to take the bottom cover off under the dash and you will see the blower motor. The resistor will be right next to the motor. Do your self a favor and get a 1/4" universal, and just pull the motor first. The Resistor will be easier to pull. I laid my seat down as far as it would go and just laid on my back and did it. Its a hell of a head rush:eek:

Wow, I forgot I have this problem, too! I got on because my vent selector switch is broken - it feels like a physical disconnect, but anyway I can't choose between dash vents, defrost, etc., and the air conditioner light is always on. So I'm going to keep searching, but if anybodyu has a link to the correct thread, I appreciate it!

Thank you, sir. So I have left/right temperature door actuators, and then an actuator for door(s) directing air to defrost, mid-cabin, and/or floorboard area, etc? I wonder why the a/c light is always on now? The system must be stuck in either a "max" or defrost position, which forces the a/c on.

I went through about 8 pages of the how-to section and couldn't find a thread... so thanks again, not meaning to threadjack.

Tom
