Fan rubbing on the radiator

My car started making noises after it was turned off. Turns out that my driver side fan is tilted slightly so that the top is rubbing on the radiator. Is that adjustable? Or can I just bend the mounting stuff somehow to get it tilted back into alignment?

id bend it. easier and quicker.

is there a reason the fan is tilted though? like something else pressing against it?

Dunno. Nothing's pressing on it since I can reach all the way around it. My guess is something happened when my headers got put on. I know they zip-tied the big plug harness up and out of the way so that it wouldn't be so close to the primary. It doesn't look like it's a problem, but maybe there's enough tension on it that it can pull the fan up. Maybe I'll try cutting that and see what happens.

See, I need to post on these forums so that my brain starts thinking logically. :th_scratchhead:

I'd have to see exactly whats wrong but you can shim the fans, I had to do this when I installed my 1-3/8" radiator. Don't shim too far away though or you'll effect how well the cooling system works. I have mine placed as close to the radiator as possible without actully hitting it. Thats how it should be...
