The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
already put in a 195 tstat, it helped about 5 degrees.
If I could figure out what relay to pull thats help along with cardboard.
Ill try pulling rely #3 and go to work see if that helps.
Honestly my fans hardly run in the summer. They never, and I mean never, run in the winter. But I don't let my car idle for any longer than 10 to 15 mins.
Just backflushing your heater core could get you slightly better heat, and can be done without flushing the whole system. Any amount of buildup will lower coolant flow through it and limit your heat output. It's worth a try to avoid pulling relays and such. If that doesn't work, I'd do what Bill said, reprogram the fans to come on at 195 like they should.
Has anyone ever done controlled testing on how much 180 degree fans and thermostats really help KR? I bet they don't help much at all compared to headers and other mods, so I'd consider 180 degree settings and such pretty pointless.
