FALSE KR/ poly mounts

ok ...im hitting spikes of 7* kr on a stock pulley with intake and headers....and i think its my god damn pacesetters dp hitting the powersteering lines because my motor moves crazy style due to my old square rubber mounts....you guys think poly mounts will take care of this how much will they stop the motor from moving under high torque is there virtually no movement with poly mounts? because mine is terrible...
 


they might help, but did you flip your sway bar when you installed those? still might need to do that. have you ever flipped your front mounts too? that would be free and would help for now.

also, when does it spike? only once on a downshift or something that jerks the motor around? if it is spiking when youre already in the throttle then it isnt false.
 
no when i jab the throttle it spikes and it especially knocks on downshifts how do you flip the sway bar is a it a *****?
 
...its not too bad, just have to take it out and then shove it in backwards so the sway bar isnt facing up anymore and faces down. just gives you more clearance around the downpipe area.

Mine does the same thing. But she loves the race gas!!! While were on this discussion about poly mounts. What about the sway bar poly's worth it/not worth it?
 
No one ever responded to the last comment on this topic... But yes sway bar and link kits i use energy suspension bushings on link kits and oem sway bar and it makes a nice difference in handling. (i know this is from 2009 but for future reference).

I also run poly mounts in my dog bones, as far as engine and trans mounts no ill stick to OEM to avoid vibration and false kr unless i balance my block then i might consider as these engined arent 100% balanced from factory.
 


You guys have any links to where you can get the poly mounts ,I am also looking to pick these up.My original front mount needs to be replaced
