Factory arm problem

Hello. My '99 GT is all factory. I have they keyless lock/unlock/trunk release/panic keypad. When I close all the doors and press the lock button, the horn beeps/headlights flash TWICE. I have seen other GP's only do that ONCE. I cannot find anything in the manual to tell me why it does it twice. Is this normal for some models or is there something wrong with my system? I have tested and bumped my car, and the alarm will sound, and after arming my car the red led does flash. :th_scratchhead: Thanks for any help in advance.
 


It's just a matter of how the system was programmed using the Tech II device at a dealer by either a previous owner or when activated upon purchase.
 
If it works, arma, sounds when messed with, don't fix what aint broke. Sure it is just how it was set somewhere along the life of the car
