it will sound alright. there is no setup that is going to sound great. gotta kinda work with what you've got..
 
my brothers 05 mustang has thrush mufflers, he just got done putting his headers and H-pipe on, but going to a shop today to get it all welded cause it leaks where the clamps are.

and no your 3800 wont sound like that lols :P
 
Ya I have thrush turbos, not too quiet not too loud. when I hit WOT with a CAI they sound bad*** in my opinion. Plus they are cheap. :)
