thinking on switching to single exhaust on my grand prix gt its got flowmasters know but feels slower

i am thoroughly confused by this. so you have a stock gt exhaust with flowmasters but it feels slower than it did before the flowmasters? i dont know what to say about that. but we dont have true dual exhaust so there is no point in going to single exhaust since you already have one pretty much. and even if you had true dual exhaust going to single would do nothing but restrict airflow and actually make it a little slower...
