Hey guys whats going on i have a 02 gt and i wanted to put on mufflers and i cant decide if i should do magnaflow or borla. I was also was thinking about cutting off my resonater and just welding a straight pipe or should a get a cherry bomb.

Welcome aboard! The general consensus is that there is no "right" answer to the muffler question. Just don't think you're going to put some Super 40's or 44's on and it's gonna sound like a Mustang - cuz it won't. Ever. I've heard cars with Dynomax's on them - and they sound just as good or better than others that spent the $$ on Borla's.

As for the resonator....either keep it on OR put on a glass pack of some kind. Without something - it will sound like fresh @ss. There IS a general consensus on that point. :)

That sounds pretty b a but is that just mufflers do you know because i would probably just be buying mufflers and tips for right now.
 
Go to youtube and check out the Pypes Quad Muffler setup I think it sounds sweet. It's on a Mustang though. I'm putting that on my Crown Vic and the Pypes RacePro mufflers on my wifes GTP. Do a search for mufflers.....there are a lot of companies out there besides Flowmaster, Borla and Dynomax. Those are good companies but I was looking for something different and ran across Pypes.
Anyway, good luck and post up about what you go with. If it's different include audio too if you can.
 
i just put the dynomax mufflers on my car with new tips and they sound bad ass but i need them to be louder any suggestions. i was thinking either cutting off my res. and welding a straight pipe or should i do something else.
