Exhaust Question Bolt on or not?

Haha, just saying.

Try and find more in car videos to give you a better idea of what driving around with it is like.

Well ive come to the conclusion that ill do a Headers and downpipe mod and then replace my current mufflers with Borlas that seems to be the general consensus on the forum and im sure I will enjoy it too. I just want to figure out what the best Header and downpipe set up is now.

You're mileage really shouldn't have dropped with a header install, did you delete your EGR also??? That will definitely eat at your mileage.

When it comes to headers, its one of those things that you get what you pay for. Cheaper ebay kits are made with thinner metals and sloppy welds (most of the ones I've seen that is) .

My suggestion, go with a set of TOG's, try to get them used as they are cheaper that way, and use their downpipe. TOG's have one of the best flex's, and fitment is also really nice with them, no slip joints. They are a home run.

As far as aftermarket exhaust, I have stainless ZZP exhaust, and my only regret is I didn't spend the extra $90 on their resonator........... :(

Do you have both Headers and Down pipe SS? Does that require welding? And how much was it?

If you get headers, you dont need a downpipe. your exhaust will be like this

cylinder heads>headers>catback

I bought a pair of $200 headers off ebay. I know a guy who used stock clamps and no copper spray and they seal. I would recommend at least copper spray since its cheap and if they still leak you can go buy some better band clamps. You could also wait for mufflers after the headers because they will change your sound a little.
