So, I got some Bassani bullet style race mufflers.

Already had a ZZP catted 3" downpipe/resonator delete.

Tossed on those mufflers and it was worse than driving around with the catback off.

So, I took it back and hacked them off. I'm ditching them. Now I've got some amazing muffler deletes in there, and it's actually quieter. WTF is that about?

Anywho. Ordered a new resonator and some SLP loudmouth's.

Hopefully that cures the dumb.

Can't wait to get all this put on so I can have a decent sounding exhaust system.
 


my exhaust is falsely loud because of some bullet mufflers in place of the stock ones.

i eventually want to do an x-pipe with resonators and then some real mufflers, like corsa or borla. i would seriously hate to pay for a corsa/borla exhaust at something around $1100+...
 
I'm not upset with spending money if it's going to benefit.

But I'll be getting a long Maggy resonator with those SLP Loudmouth's...and since it already has an HFC, it'll have enough grunt to sound NOT stock...but not be Harley status like it is now.
 






I planned on it when I do everything this winter...this wasn't supposed to be the plan, but it works for the meantime.

That's why I got a crappy Honda for the daily.
 
yeah i need my exhaust fixed asap the open downpipe is to much for me. I just need a short bolt in 3in to 2 1/2in adapter.
 
yeah but i want it to bolt in (with the flanges) just incase i need to pull the downpipe and everything out
