Not a race, but a kill depending on your personal taste

A friend of mine has a new Borla system on his V8 GXP. He assured me that his car sounded meaner than my 3800 with DynoMax Mufflers. (at idle)

He knows I have a small cam & I tried explaining to him that the E85 made my V6 sound beastly. He didn't believe me... so we battled. End of the day it was all in good fun. Just friendly competition

Yep the v6 wins this time. Usually around here exhaust battles are for whos is the loudest. I remember once there was a camaro with open headers under the tin stuff at sonic...omg that was loud.
 
Great reference video for the brainiacs who swear the vs cam doesn't lope.
I get so tired of people thinking it's some type of weak A$$ play cam

yes it does lol. it drones to much in the car when driving. im gonna install a magnaflow 26"L resonator(glasspack) here in a few days. hopefully it helps keep the drone out the inside while driving. but right now its so loud that you can hardly hare the blower whine at wot. lol.

For 1 I'm on e85 and it makes the lopes sound deeper. Plus your idle may be higher than mine (I'm sitting at about 700-750 RPM) And I have headers, no resonator, no cat, just the dynomax mufflers
 
i gotta go with the V8 on this one. not that either of them sound bad lol. your's sounds like a monster, i just love the low rumble of a nice V8
 


that v8 sounds weak it must be the mufflers he has, my mustang with slp loudmouths is the way a v8 should sound..the gp does sound nice
