Whats the stock size of the inlet/outlet of the exhaust at the mufflers on a 98 GT?

I wasn't positive on this... but isn't it 2 1/4 until the exhaust then goes to 2 1/2??? So muffler inlet outlets are 2 1/2 maybe???

wait wait wait...i was thinking wrong.

the regular catback is 2.25", but the mufflers themselves are 2" inlet/outlet. after the Y pipe it is down to 2".

Forgot GPs are like that. All Imps and Montes (even dual exhaust versions) are 2.25" all the way back to the exhaust tips.

I have mine sitting on the floor in the shop, I could take measurements off that tomorrow sometime..

What is inlet size for the 04+ models. Nobody has clarified this with me, i want to get rid of those ugly stock tips but i do not know if i need to get 2.25 or 2.5 tips. Somebody has to know!
