Had my exhaust done by a custom shop not far from my house. Sounds AMAZING. Its really really deep cause its a full 3 ich cat back. Now I know so many of you said keep the res keep the res well i didnt and it has NO rasp whatsoever. Its great. I didnt have enough for a high flow cat but I have the u bend deleted and from there to the mufflers is a 3 inch pipe, into bosal ( i think thats what they're called) mufflers and then into dual offset tips kinda like special edition types. I really love it and it sounds good
Pics (excuse the dent lol car came w/ it)

Ill take more of the actuall system/mufflers tomorrow

i will, my cell takes as*tastik video footage so ill have to wait till my buddy comes over this weekend with his nice camera lol

You totally did the right thing IMO. With the good mufflers you don’t need a resonator, especially a 10 year old one.
Besides a resonator delete has got to be good for 1 whp! :th_sign-imo:
I wish you had before and after pics from under the car.

and why did you waste the money to go with 3" when youll never outflow a 2.5" setup? just seems dumb to me.

thanks! cerik ya i wish i had a stock undercar pic =/ but trust me this is wayyy better =) its powdercoated black and i knew youd have something to say bio....and 2.5 inch would be the same cost?

guy told me it wouldnt really matter to him plus you get a better, deeper sound. and that loss of low end torque is SOOOO minimal its pathetic. top end is alot better too

a) you dont get a deeper sound from bigger pipes, thats a fallacy. its all in the mufflers.

b) a catback doesnt add or subtract ANY power unless youre damn near maxing out an m90 setup so there is no reason to go any bigger than 2.5" ever. if you have a turbo that is another story.

it only makes sense dude
1. ya you do get deeper sounds from deeper pipes. thats common sense??
and
2. well do you have dyno results for that? probably not.

ya i had a guy do that for my buddy and his 2500 chevy. he was just like i dont care what size we put on there. he was a small town guy though so that mighta had something to do with it

looks good dude. did you paint your rear lower bumper?

thanks and ya everyone around here goes to this guy lol
and no its stock painted that way. i had just washed the car so it looks more shiny in that picture lol

oh well thanks lol
wow i wasnt expecting that ha
but ya idk it was only 550 for everything including tax so i came out pretty good and i like the sound alot

wow, really? $550 for a catback? you should pick up a welder and learn a little. that catback should have cost about $150.

i know how to weld but im not that good lol
but considering a magnaflow cat back or slp or whatever costs the same price UNINSTALLED i think i came out ok
trust me i couldve ******ed it if i wanted too
