2000 GP SE 3.1 I have 2 questions:
1. What happens to the o2 sensors when you install dual exhaust ?

2. Can I do away with the egr valve ? We don't have inspections in Oklahoma.
 


1 It is not true dual exhaust, but one pipe that goes back, and a y split pipe that goes to two right before the mufflers.

2. Yes you can disable the EGR system, it will probably keep a check engine light on the dash.
 
2001 SE 3.1 with Magnaflow cat back exhaust-2.5 inch-Stainless Steel and ubend delete. Came with 2 magna flow SS mufflers, SS magna flow resonator, and SS pipes. Was a little loud for the wife and teenage daughter so I added another resonator after the magna flow resonator and sounds great now. Not loud, just a low rumble. Was a little loud with the just the magna flow resonator and straight through mufflers. It sounds really good but the 3.1's sound so much better than the 3.8's since they are not 90 degree V6's.Bought the system from gmpartsdirect in 09 for $450-steal!!! Here are 2 pictures:
