Excess Oil Consumption

2004 3.8 l engine using oil. Low mileage. Any hints on where to look for contributing factors, such as crancase breather (hope I have the term right). Thanks in advance.

not really. I say valve covers, lim gaskets.

true, i missed low mileage so probably valve cover gaskets is the first to check

how much does it lose? like a quart every 3000 miles? more? less?
