Every time it rains

Every time it rains really hard my car will sometimes run like the maf sensor is bad. I dont know if wires are getting wet, or water is getting into the intake. but the car is basically un drivable unless i push the pedal down good and then the car will lurch forward and run normally.

sounds like you need some new plug wires.

yea and i have a scangauge and when it runs like that my fuel trims go to like -25

and i dont think its the plug wires because if i shut the car off and turn it on it runs normal for about 30 seconds and then the fuel trims go to like -25 and it sputters bad and the intake gets really loud

so its not related to the mass air flow at all then?
