Like cop stated, the rotors become restrictive to the air flow of the turbo. One of the several downfalls to a twin charged 3800. Mike got it as in upping the the blower. At the point might as well buy a LSx powered vehicle.

There is a device which uses the BBV solenoid to open the bypass once the turbo spools.
